Odyssey Semiconductor is an innovative nanotechnology company based in Ithaca, NY. Our founders, Dr. Richard J. Brown and Dr. James R. Shealy created the company with the goal of replacing silicon carbide with gallium nitride (GaN) as the dominant high-performance power switching semiconductor material. Our revolutionary processing technology makes it possible for GaN devices to expand beyond consumer electronics and take on more challenging roles such as energy grid applications.
